Event ΙΜΟ 70: Our Heritage-Better Shipping for a Better Future
The IMO Ambassador in Greece, Mr. Leonidas Dimitriadis-Evgenidis, organized on Thursday, September 27, 2018, the event “IMO 70: Our Heritage – A Better Shipping for a Better Future”. The event was hosted on the occasion of the World Maritime Day 2018 and the celebration of the 70th anniversary of IMO.
The event took place at the Eugenides Foundation. The Minister of Maritime and Insular Policy, Members of the Greek Parliament, the Chief of the Coast Guard, representative of the Chief of the Army General Staff, the Dean of the National Technical University of Athens, the Deputy Chairman of the Hellenic Chamber of Shipping, the Secretary-General of the Ministry of Maritime and Insular Policy, the Secretary-General of Ports, Port Policy and Maritime Investment, representatives of the Union of Greek Shipowners, the Ministry of Maritime and university professors of Merchant Marine Academies, maritime industry executives and students of Merchant Marine Academies and vocational high schools attended the event.
