Dr. Orestis Schinas, Professor of Shipping and Finance at the Hamburg School of Business Administration, HSBA, visited the Eugenides Foundation with ten M.Sc. students to learn about the work of the Eugenides Foundation and met the IMO Ambassador in Greece, Mr. Leonidas Dimitriadis-Evgenidis and the Eugenides Foundation Publishing team.
During the very constructive exchange of views, the issue of reduction of global sulphur cap to 0.5% from January 2020, one of the IMOs 2020 goals, was mentioned.
The proximity of mindsets was noticeable, theory and practice came so close to each other. Professor Schinas has guided his team in a highly professional way.
Leonidas Dimitriadis-Eugenidis accepted the invitation to visit Hamburg HSBA School at a date to be mutually agreed upon.
