20th Annual Forum ICS Greek Branch
As part of the 20th Annual Forum of the ICS Greek Branch, held on November 12, 2025, at the Eugenides Foundation amphitheater, a Special Award was presented to Leonidas Dimitriadis-Eugenides, IMO Goodwill Maritime Ambassador in Greece, President of the Eugenides Foundation, and Honorary Member of ICS.
This distinction recognizes his long-standing and substantial contribution to maritime education, as well as his unwavering support for the Greek Branch of ICS.
In his speech, the Maritime Ambassador emphasized the seriousness and compliance that the global shipping community must demonstrate with IMO regulations, the importance of continuous investment in maritime knowledge and education, and the need to link technical training with the evolving requirements of the shipping industry.
