On Monday, October 21, 2024, the IMO Maritime Goodwill Ambassador in Greece, Mr. Leonidas Dimitriadis-Evgenidis, visited the premises of the Hellenic Management Center, the official authorized training provider of the Institute of Chartered Shipbrokers in Piraeus, and spoke with the students of the ICS Professional Maritime Programme.

13th Panhellenic Conference of Maritime Museums

The 13th Panhellenic Conference of Maritime Museums took place in Skiathos from 17 to 19 May 2024.
The aim of the conference was to highlight the importance of naval museums for the history of Greece, to raise awareness of restoration techniques for monuments-testimonies of maritime heritage, to highlight the continuity of traditions, skills and historically preserved shipyards and shipyards, as well as the use of new technologies and digital tools for their preservation in perpetuity.

1st Maritime Security Conference: The dimensions of maritime security and their role in freedom of navigation

The President of the Eugenides Foundation and IMO Goodwill Ambassador, Leonidas Dimitriadis Evgenidis, attended the workshop on the Regulation for the Safe Electrification, Electric Charging, Berthing, Surveys and Certification of Electric and Hybrid Ships, organized by the General Secretariat of Shipping and Ports and the Directorate of Studies and Constructions of the Ministry of Shipping and Insular Policy.
